The story of founder Esra Atıcı’s sustainable life journey started at the age of 9 by explaining that paper is not a garbage, class to class. For Esra, who carries out upcycling projects in many areas, from bokashi compost to raising worms, from making baskets from cardboard to renewing clothes, wastes are valuable items that will come to life again with a little time and effort.
Originally a psychological counselor, Esra received training in arts such as mosaic, tile and illumination throughout her education and working life. During her years as a counselor, she changed perspectives by organizing upcycling workshops for parents while working with children who were seen as maladaptive and worthless.
Esra, who believes that every waste can be reused when evaluated correctly, continues to spread her knowledge and awareness with her workshops.
